Ian Pollock - Graduate Program Coordinator, Associate Professor of Art. Professor Pollock, is a digital media fine artist with a Bachelor of Fine Art in New Media from the San Francisco Art Institute and a Master of Fine Art from the University of California, Berkeley. Ian Pollock is a Digital Media Artist who has exhibited nationally and internationally and online. His work on-line and with telephones is featured in several anthologies of digital media art. He is currently working on a project of mapping reports of prejudice and profiling of Muslims in America at

Gwyan Rhabyt - Art Department Chair, Professor of Art, MFA in Sculpture (1997), California College of Arts and Crafts, BA in Philosophy (1986), UC San Diego. Professor Rhabyt's focus is on tangible interactive art. He has been working with digital art since experimenting with prototype GUIs at Xerox PARC in 1980. He teaches classes in interactive authoring, electronic sculpture, and off-the-screen multimedia.

Janet Green - Associate Professor of Art, Masters of Arts (Multimedia), California State University, East Bay (2002), Master of Arts (Communications), Monash University, Australia (1997) and Bachelor of Arts (Graphic Design), Swinburne Institute of Technology, Australia (1982). She is currently working on wirelessly connected, interactive, handheld museum guide prototypes for institutions that have included Chabot Space & Science, The Exploratorium and Moss Landing Marine Labs.

Phillip Hofstetter - Professor of Art, with a Master of Art, Multimedia from California State University, Hayward (1997). Professor Hofstetter is Chair of CSUEB Art Department. His career in the arts includes works in the theater, documentary television, and major stints at Bay Area art museums. He produced the definitive multimedia website on the ancient Maya. Currently he is internationally exhibiting his large scale photographic work of Greek and Maya ruins.

John MacWillie - Lecturer. John MacWillie has nearly twenty-five years of experience in the business of high-technology as a Chief Technology Officer, a Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, Vice President of Business Development. He is currently a Managing Director for the Berkeley Group which provides strategy and corporate development consulting to high-technology companies. He has his BA from the University of California, Berkeley and did his graduate studies at New York University.

Daniel Weinstein is Sr. Engineering Manager for HERE Maps Reality Lens, a leading platform for measuring, mapping, and modeling smart cities that runs on the street-level map being built for autonomous driving. Reality Lens builds on his interest in smart cities that started during his thesis project, LivingTown, a location-based educational game where players save endangered species. Since graduating in 2010, Dan has additionally worked as VP Engineering for a kids social network, Everloop, and has earned awards in various competitions and contests (2011 San Jose Mobile Startup Camp (1st place), 2011 San Francisco Startup Weekend (2nd place), and 2011 San Francisco Lean Startup Machine (1st place), and Winner of the 2013 Tech Awards Circle, taking a Gold for "Technologist of the Year." (1st place).

Allister Willems is works at GE Digital [formerly GE Software] as Lead Technology Instructional Designer, and GE Digital Learning Department developer serving GE’s onsite staff of 3000 employees,34,000 Software Engineers in the broader businesses, as well as designing Computer Based Courses with a reach of 350,000 GE employees. His previous experiences includes stints at Johnson & Johnson’s as Web Producer and later as Junior Front End Developer for Barycenter’s Ad Department, and Senior Web Producer and Front Developer for SF startup Blurb is a author platform for self publishing digital and hardcopy books.

Donnie Torrez works at Google as a Creative Technologist on a marketing team called the ZOO. The ZOO is the global creative think tank within Google that helps the biggest brands and their agencies to exploit the creative and technical potential of Google’s products and platforms in their digital marketing campaigns. As a Creative Technologist, Donald is responsible for leading cutting-edge technology exploration and education for the west coast region of his team and external partners.
